Tree of the Blacks by Seeds-of-Thought Tree of the Blacks by Seeds-of-Thought
This was made using a variety of mediums. i used graphite pencil (sky), charcoal, black colored pencil, art stix, and one other one that i can't remember right now... i'm sure it will come to me in a couple of weeks...

Very impressive... the consistent coloring of the sky gives it a very dim and creepy atmosphere... you are very handy with pencils, colored, and charcoal, sir.

thanks! it's weird that even though i used all black mediums, it still came out with subtle differences. it just goes to show, you can't trust labels!

Interesting to see how you'd make that many different mediums come together so easily, great work and i just love the contrasts in it.

thanks! it was a lot of fun to do. it was interesting how the different mediums interacted. for instance, the colored pencil had wax in it, so the charcoal wouldn't mix with it. it made it more challenging than just creating another stupid dead tree.
